This is why I like reading and posting on forums and community websites. It is always difficult to know which website is really trustworthy before you place an order. They are simply the ones that fit well and survive many rounds of washing or daily use. Loose hinges make the glasses slide down the nose again and again. Even big and famous brands sometimes send generic replies that are not very helpful. Having a tracking number that works on common sites is very convenient.  
 
If anyone is interested in real user experiences, I sometimes write short notes about the shops I test.

Online shops that show detailed measurements and care instructions usually get my attention. If many different people say the same thing about a product, it is worth paying attention. Of course shipping delays can happen, but good communication reduces stress. I also pay attention to return policy and customer service response time. Whenever I find something that actually works well, I tend to reorder it later. Personally I like a mix of design, comfort and realistic pricing. In the end there is no perfect shop, but some stores are clearly more consistent.
